29 de jul. de 2023 · Stanley was born in c.1433 and was the eldest son of Thomas Stanley, 1st Baron Stanley, and his wife, Joan Goushill. His father had served Henry VI as controller of the household and it was thanks to his father's influence that Stanley became one of Henry VI's squires in 1454.
