  1. Edmund de la Pole, 3rd Duke of Suffolk, 6th Earl of Suffolk, KG (c. 1471 – 30 April 1513), Duke of Suffolk, was an English nobleman and soldier.

He was the second son and third child of John de la Pole, 2nd Duke of Suffolk, and Elizabeth Plantagenet (sister of Edward IV and Richard III). This meant that Edmund had a claim to the throne as a descendent of Edward III and nephew of Richard III.

Pole was therefore close to the throne, a dangerous position in Tudor times. He succeeded his father as duke in 1492 but because the family had lost estates was recognized as earl only.
