29 de mai. de 2018 · Lely, Sir Peter van der Faes (1618–80) Dutch portrait painter, active in England. Principal painter to Charles II, he is associated with the Restoration court. Lely established the tradition of the society portrait. His best-known paintings include two series, The Windsor Beauties (1660s) and the famous Admirals (1666–67).
