Everyone is talking about how amazing the last 20 minutes of that episode were (and rightly so). However, praise has to be given to Iain Glen for his performance as Jorah. In the first scene where his fate is being decided he never utters a single word. That being said you can sense and feel the hopelessness from his reactions.

GRRM always says he writes by the quote that the only thing writing about is "the human heart in conflict with itself", and Iain Glen does an amazing job portraying that inner conflict with Jorah. He's one of the characters that best exemplifies the "GoT Good Guy" - he's got good intentions in his heart, but he isn't without his flaws.
