Edward Robert Lytton Bulwer-Lytton, 1st Earl of Lytton GCB GCSI GCIE PC (8 November 1831 - 24 November 1891) was an English statesman and poet.He served as Viceroy of India during the Great Famine of 1876-78.
Sein Sohn und Erbe Robert Bulwer-Lytton, 2. Baron Lytton (1831–1891) war von 1876 bis 1880 Generalgouverneur und Vizekönig von Indien, wofür er 1880 zum Earl of Lytton ernannt wurde.
