However, in one point of protecting one's family, for the first time in [ which Peter Fonda performs / of the man passing middle age / solitary fighting ] was the existing once action hero itself with which the Vietnam return darkens.

Ulee's Gold is a really undervalued film, that is probably only remembered now because of Peter Fonda's well-deserved Oscar nomination. Fonda is absolutely wonderful in the lead role of the film, as the introspective Ulee. His stoic, tired performance is one of the stand-outs of his career and the closest he has ever come to channelling his father.
