Sophia Baddeley born Sophia Snow (1745 – July 1786) was an English actress and singer.. Early life, musical career. She was born in London, the daughter of Mary and Valentine Snow, who was the sergeant-trumpeter to George II.
The Drury Lane band appeared again, this time in the balustraded orchestra area within the Rotunda. The famous singers Joseph Vernon and Mrs Sophia Baddeley performed. The guests too were encouraged to join in the 'new songs, ballads, roundelays, catches and glees' that had been written especially for the occasion.
