I spent 24 years in the USAF, 20 as an AFRTS military broadcaster. Early in my career I had the opportunity to go to London to interview Maurice White in the 1977-80 time frame. Maurice was kind to allow me to do the interview at the sound check for that night’s performance. He even gave me a ticket for that performance.
