Next inspection. We’ll inspect schools that require improvement again in the 30 months following their last inspection, or at any time if we have concerns. We normally give one working day's notice before an inspection but can also inspect schools without notice. We can also do a monitoring visit.

The school has a long tradition of excellence in sporting activities and the arts, but all areas of the school contribute fully to our programme. As a school we have developed robust intervention strategies to support improving achievement at KS4, such as revision and exam skills sessions. This includes links with local colleges.

At Buile Hill Academy, we endeavour for all our students and staff to strive to achieve their 'personal best' and have 'no excuses' in their approach to school. We have strong links with our partner primary schools, meaning when students arrive they are already familiar with many of our teachers and have often visited our site before formally joining us.
