Charlotte joined JFS in September 2019 as Head of Year and joined the Senior Leadership Team in October 2021. Prior to that, Charlotte was Head of KS3 at a Sikh school in Slough. Charlotte studied a combined honours degree in Physical Education and Geography from Liverpool Hope University, before completing her PGCE in Physical Education.

JFS – Term Dates. JFS is a Jewish mixed comprehensive school in Kenton, North London, England and was founded in 1732. Amongst its early supporters was the writer and philanthropist Charlotte Montefiore. At one time it was the largest Jewish school in the world, with more than 4,000 pupils.
Since its founding nearly 300 years ago in 1732, JFS has become a key part of the rich tapestry of Jewish communal life in London and is the largest Jewish school in Europe, providing thousands of children with the necessary skills, experiences, and qualifications to succeed as adults, harnessing their potential, whilst instilling in them a deep and life-long pride in their Jewish identity.

4 de dez. de 2023 · JFS has marked a remarkable turnaround by becoming the top comprehensive school in England and Wales, according to an influential annual survey. The UK’s largest Jewish school topped the charts in The Times’ annual Parent Power guide, which is based on exam results. Two other Jewish schools made it into the Top 10 comprehensives nationwide.
