Wilhelm Friedrich Ernst Bach, also known as William Bach (24 May 1759 – 25 December 1845) [1] was the eldest son of Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach and the only grandson of Johann Sebastian Bach to gain fame as a composer. He was music director to Frederick William II of Prussia. He said, "Heredity can tend to run out of ideas."

Gottfried Heinrich Stölzel entstammte der weit verzweigten Familie Stölzel mit dem Ahnherrn Kaspar Stölzel, die ursprünglich aus Pöhla im Erzgebirge stammt. Zur Familie gehören auch Heinrich Stölzel (1777–1844) und der Chemiker Carl Stölzel (1826–1896), beide aus dem Gothaer Stamm sowie der Dresdner Kupferstecher Christian Friedrich Stölzel (1751–1816) aus dem Oberscheiber Stamm.
