In addition to term grades, a student will receive a year-end summative grade and, for those courses giving final exams, a final exam grade at the end of the course. As a young lesbian born and raised until age 14 in rural North Carolina, there was nothing more refreshing than the accepting environment of Newton, Massachusetts. While there are so many benefits to my school such as safety, connections, and plethora of classes, I cannot ignore the blatant cons.
