The Candler community joins with all those mourning world-renowned theologian Jürgen Moltmann, who died on June 3 in Germany at the age of 98. Moltmann served from 1983 to 1993 as Robert W. Woodruff Distinguished Visiting Professor of Systematic Theology at Candler, and remained a steadfast friend of the school in the decades that followed.
