19 de jan. de 2021 · The Savills Wimborne development team have completed on the sale of former independent boarding school, St Mary’s in Shaftesbury, Dorset. The former school, which closed in July, was offered for sale by BDO and has been bought by Dorset Council for £10,050,000. St Mary’s occupies secluded grounds of 55 acres, in an elevated position.

18 de mai. de 2021 · A sneak peek into St Mary’s Shaftesbury. Phase one will see 60 children access the facilities from January 2022 as day pupils. Residential places will follow along with professional teaching and training for staff so the school develops a reputation as a centre of excellence.
When the news was confirmed in July 2020 that the School - a provider of first-class Catholic education for girls for the last 75 years - would close, there was a huge feeling of shock and sadness. Those of us who had been involved in the original SOGA, and several more former pupils since, decided to resurrect the Association.
