10 de mai. de 2024 · Communication between ether9 and ether10 seem to be bridged properly and do not go through the firewall. Bridge ports even have the HW offload. But all flows between sfp-sfpplus2 and those two other ports will hit the firewall. Logs show the same input and output interface :
8 de mai. de 2024 · However, when I use the WireGuard client on MikroTik, the traffic doesn't navigate properly. The persistent keep alive is set to 25, but the traffic is only in bytes. From the FRITZ!Box side, it recognizes that the site-to-site is available, but the traffic doesn't reach the destination server IPs from the client.
6 de mai. de 2024 · The issue was on the client side; there was a Mikrotik Hex in between the main router with some pre-configured settings, causing connection problems with the client, even DHCP wasn't working anymore. Today, I connected directly to the Huawei 5G router, using a regular switch instead of the Mikrotik Hex, with all the firewalls set up, and the result is that everything is working great.
26 de abr. de 2024 · The goal of the firewall ruleset at this point is: Allow everything out. Allow return traffic in. Allow SSH in if it's going to host 199.181.204.130. Drop everything else. There is no NAT at this point, so it's just a set of "public IPs". 0 ;;; Allow anything out from the LAN to the tunnels. chain=forward action=accept in-interface=ether1-LAN.
12 de mai. de 2024 · Im using a Mikrotik hap ac3 router with firmware 7.14.3 I have to tag isp traffic to vlan 40 in order to use my own router with my isp. I found another topic on this forum which was doing something very similar but i wanted to check that things are set up all correctly with my firewall and wan /lan configuration.
