The American cult film distributor Severin Films licensed the series for distribution in North America, releasing the complete series on Blu-ray in October 2022 with English subtitles. In 2005, as an attempt to relaunch the idea, a series of TV movies was shot under the title Películas para no dormir (Films to Keep You Awake).

Much like any collection of films concocted by different directors for a package deal, these 6 Films to Keep You Awake vary in effectiveness and entertainment value. However, the singular fact that covers all six is that they're all competently crafted and, at least to some small degree, reasonably unnerving.
