The Dude runs on most versions of Microsoft Windows. It is recommended to use Windows 2000 or newer. We have successfully used The Dude even on very low power machines, so generally, any system which can acceptably run Windows 2000 or Windows XP will be able to run The Dude.
Loader. Open up The Dude client app. Loader will present you with similar to winbox menu and ask you to log into some server. For versions: v6.36rc12 and older builds - Default login is: admin with no password. v6.36rc13 and newer builds - You have to use your RouterOS user for logging into The Dude server.
