George Cruikshank (Londen, 27 september 1792 - aldaar, 1 februari 1878) was een Engelse artiest, karikaturist en illustrator. Cruikshank begon zijn loopbaan met satirische politieke cartoons. Né à Duke Street ( Bloomsbury ), le 27 septembre 1792, George Cruikshank est le second fils du caricaturiste, miniaturiste et illustrateur d'ouvrages, Isaac Cruikshank (1756-1810/1811).
