He was the only son of William Fitzalan, eleventh earl of Arundel, K.G., by his second wife, Lady Anne Percy, daughter of Henry Percy, fourth earl of Northumberland.
6 de dez. de 2023 · Henry Fitzalan, 12th Earl of Arundel. Arundel, a staunch Roman Catholic, was appointed Lord Steward and a councillor by Elizabeth on her accession. Deeply mistrusted, he was too powerful a subject for the Queen to alienate. He fell from favour and led the party which aimed to depose her and crown Mary, Queen of Scots.

William Fitzalan, 11th Earl of Arundel, 8th Baron Maltravers KG (1476 – 23 January 1544) was an English peer, styled as Lord Maltravers from 1487 to 1524. FitzAlan was the son of Thomas Fitzalan, 10th Earl of Arundel , and Margaret Woodville (died before 6 March 1490), daughter of Richard Woodville, 1st Earl Rivers , and a younger sister of Elizabeth Woodville , wife of Edward IV .
