Hoeller takes Jung’s Seven Sermons to the Dead, which is heavily gnostic, and explains it through a psychologized gnostic lens. He goes through each sermon and breaks it down piece by piece. While there wasn’t anything particularly “new” that Jung doesn’t explain elsewhere in his works, Hoeller does a good job explaining his ideas.

The book also contains key essays by Father Victor White and Gilles Quispel, whose "C.G. Jung und die Gnosis" is here translated for the first time.
