LACHSA was founded in 1985 under the direction of the LA County Office of Education, and is located on the campus of California State University, Los Angeles. ABOUT. The music curriculum at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts offers all students the opportunity to study music theory (classical and jazz) training from music fundamentals to advanced harmony, perform in large and small ensembles (instrumental and vocal) and study music technology along with film scoring.
