He may be The Boss, but even he bleeds. This aspect gives the film more of an emotional impact. Boss Nigger is a very entertaining film that was obviously influenced by Sergio Leone's Man with No Name Trilogy, Clint Eastwood's High Plains Drifter (1973) and even Mel Brooks' Blazing Saddles (1974) which came out a year earlier.
