Charles Wyndham, 2nd Earl of Egremont PC (19 August 1710 – 21 August 1763) of Orchard Wyndham, Somerset and Petworth House in Sussex, was a British statesman who served as Secretary of State for the Southern Department from 1761-63.

His father was Sir William Wyndham (1686 – 1740), Secretary at War (1712) and Chancellor of the Exchequer (1713–14). His mother was Catherine, née Seymour (1693–1731), daughter of Charles Seymour, sixth duke of Somerset.

Biography. Charles Wyndham, 2nd Earl of Egremont was born on 19 August 1710. He was the son of Sir William Wyndham, 3rd Bt. and Lady Catherine Seymour. He married Hon. Alicia Maria Carpenter, daughter of George Carpenter, 2nd Baron Carpenter of Killaghy and Elizabeth Petty, on 12 March 1750/51. He died on 21 August 1763 at age 53.
