School is more than just class based learning, their is a huge social element to second level education and a boy's time in Coláiste Mhuire should be one of fun and fond memories. All students are encouraged to participate in extra curricular activities and the school offers many opportunities for students to take part and develop their skills.
Transition Year in Coláiste Mhuire is action packed. On top of our academic timetable our students spend from August to May entrenched in a vast variety of activities. Below is a list of what our lads get up to but if you haven't checked out the promo video of Transition Year (below), it is probably the best illustration of what the year involves.
1 de mar. de 2024 · Coláiste Mhuire Mullingar. Our Rugby team had a great victory at home against Drogheda Grammar School. 47 points to 28 at full time. CBS progress to the Duff Junior Shield Semi Final. Most relevant is selected, so some comments may have been filtered out.
Ski Trip. The Ski Trip is an annual occurance within Coláiste Mhuire. Teachers Mr. Quinn, Ms. Acton and Mr. Rafferty are regular supervisors of this unique trip. For those who have skied before, it is an opportunity to hone in on their previous learned skills while the novice skiers get the chance to learn the basics skills as best as possible.
