515 exams were sat by 104 Fifth Year pupils during the Higher exam diet. Each pupil passed an average of 4.94 Highers. Grade A passes were gained in 449 exams (87.2%) Grade B passes were gained in 36 exams (7%) Grade C passes were gained in 19 exams (3.7%) Grades awarded in total. A-C - 504 (97.9%)
9 de fev. de 2024 · During this time, the School was referred to as the ‘Town School’. It moved to George Street in 1788, then to John Street in 1821. Our history may stretch back nine hundred years, however, our name is less than 200 years old. In 1834 the School officially became known as The High School of Glasgow, a key moment in our evolution.
The Senior School day runs as follows: 8:50am - Pupils due on premises 8:52am - Form period 9:00am - Morning Assembly 9:20am - Period 1 10:00am - Period 2 10.40am - Period 3 11:15am - Interval 11:35am - Period 4 12:10pm - Period 5 12:50pm - Lunch 2:00pm - Period 6 2:35pm - Period 7 3:10pm - Period 8 3:45pm - End of school day
