The school has many strengths, including: Sport, Music, Drama and Art; modern language teaching - children learning French throughout the school and Spanish from Year 4; Year 8 children are encouraged to sit a GCSE in a Modern Foreign Language candidates achieve top grades. The Upper School is made up of three year groups – Years 6, 7 and 8. Children are encouraged to establish, strengthen and value friendships and to support and encourage each other in their endeavours. A well-established House system introduces the fun of lively competition and develops a bond among pupils across the age range.
In Year 1 children have more opportunities to visit the Prep School as they prepare for their move up to Year 2. The day starts between 8.25am and 8.55am with registers taken at 8.55am. End of day is at 3.15pm. Many families also make use of our wrap around care which includes a breakfast club from 7.40am and extended day ending at 5.25pm.
