1 de nov. de 2017 · I’m going to call it now, Rachel Platten’s sophomore studio record “Waves” is going to be one of the most underrated albums of 2017. For some reason this era has seen her material not charting as high or getting as much traction as her debut did and it’s a travesty because this record is stronger, more mature and offers some real bangers.

While "Fight Song" echoes through Waves -- it's heard within the theme of the aspirational anthem "Broken Glass" and in the melody of "Loose Ends" -- Platten is intent on proving that she's not just a winsome singer/songwriter.

Rachel’s heart to make music that makes listeners feel emotions and connects them together in hope, love and encouragement is evident in the music she makes, Waves included.
