Fifteen months prior to joining Ludgrove in Year 4, we also hold Open Days for registered boys and their families, enabling them to get to know the school and each other as well as experience some of the fun activities on offer at Ludgrove.
Free time. Everyone outside and extra carpentry and music practice. 0840. Assembly/DM/Chapel. Mon- school assembly, Tues - Senior Chapel/DMs, Wed & Fri - DMs, Thurs - Junior Chapel, Sat - congregational practice. 0900. Period 1. Juniors in their own divisions for most subjects, seniors in specialised classroom or laboratories.
The main focus of the Ludgrove curriculum is to build firm academic foundations and encourage a love of learning. We prepare boys for public school assessments, Common Entrance and scholarship examinations. We have a very successful track record of sending boys to Eton, Harrow, Marlborough, Radley, Stowe, Sherborne, Wellington, Winchester and other distinguished schools.
