Touted as One Direction’s major rivals after some impressive US chart success, the British quintet were rumoured to be working with several superstars on their third album – Chris Brown, Justin Bieber – but none ultimately materialised.
2012–2014: Word of Mouth, The Wanted Life and indefinite hiatus. The Wanted began working on their third studio album shortly after the release of Battleground on 4 November 2011. In May 2012, "Chasing the Sun" was released as the album's lead single, and the third single from the band's The Wanted: The EP in the United States.

10 de ago. de 2013 · "Word of Mouth" is a great, underrated release from The Wanted. Yes, they're considered a boyband, but they're quite different from other bands such as One Direction for example. I would say The Wanted's lyrical and musical style is more mature and more suited for nightclubs, yet their ballads also shine through. Check this album out for yourself.
