Dear Franklin families and staff, I am pleased to announce that Principal Erik Weiss has been selected as the interim principal of Franklin High School for the 2023-24 school year. Principal Weiss will replace Principal Joseph Williams who is leaving Seattle Public Schools to pursue another professional opportunity.
We go to school for 180 days a year, and we are out of school for 185 days a year. What that means to me is that we make every minute of every day count! We don't have time for anything but focus, hard-work and learning. No sleeping in class! No cell-phones in class! This is your education, make the most of it!
