Paper 1: Speaking in French/German/ Spanish ( task 1 – Reading aloud, task 2 role play, task 3 picture card and then conversation) examination time is 10 – 12 minutes with 15 minutes preparation. Paper 2: Listening and dictation. Paper 3: Reading and translation into English.
Bournemouth School for Girls is an 11-18 selective girls’ grammar school and Sixth Form in the heart of Bournemouth. BSG currently has around 1200 students on roll which includes those in our Sixth Form. It provides students with extensive academic and extra-curricular activities from Year 7 all the way through to when most leave us in Year 13.
In Autumn the following clubs and activities took place: Fitness, Netball, Boxing, Gym, Cricket, Football, Dance, Badminton and Trampolining. On the 9 th of March, Bournemouth School for Girls (BSG) had the privilege of hosting the exhilarating FIRST Tech Challenge UK Southwest Regional Tournament. As an international robotics competition, FIRST Tech Challenge provides a dynamic platform for students to engage in the realms of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

GCSE mathematics at Grade 5 and above is often a necessary requirement for future study in many different subjects.
