  3. Bournemouth School for Girls is an 11-18 selective girls’ grammar school and Sixth Form in the heart of Bournemouth. BSG currently has around 1200 students on roll which includes those in our Sixth Form. It provides students with extensive academic and extra-curricular activities from Year 7 all the way through to when most leave us in Year 13.

As an international robotics competition, FIRST Tech Challenge provides a dynamic platform for students to engage in the realms of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Mathematics is a core subject which provides an opportunity to develop powers of logical reasoning, for enhancing everyday mathematical skills and for appreciating the role of mathematics in the world around us. GCSE mathematics at Grade 5 and above is often a necessary requirement for future study in many different subjects.
