William Henry Fremantle, D.D., who resigned the Deanery a year ago last September after holding it for 20 years, died in London on Christmas Day, Monday, 25 December 1916, aged 85. He was the second son of the late Sir T. F. Fremantle, who was raised to the peerage as Baron Cottesloe in 1874, when his son was rector of St. Mary, Bryanston Square.
