Sportforum Hohenschönhausen covers an area between 45 and 50 hectares, and comprises 35 sports facilities, including three ice rinks, two athletics halls, a football stadium, as well as eight other halls and open spaces for various sports. Development of the Dynamo-Sportforum began in 1954.

BFC Dynamo officially announced on 21 March 2021 that it had returned to the Sportforum Hohenschönhausen, as the operating permit for the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark expired on 31 December 2020. VSG Altglienicke relocated to the Stadion auf dem Wurfplatz. However, the stadium was opened again for the 2021–22 season.
SC Berlin had 2,800 members as of 2021. The club has twelve departments in various sports and has produced numerous Olympic athletes of Germany. The sports club is still based in the Sportforum Hohenschönhausen. Honours
