Thanks both @chrisjp - ive tried firefox ( I never use this browser) cleared all caches and history (from all time) and it logged in through authentation. then once loaded got a red 'you are not logged into email' box so clicked onto the log in button and its back to stage 1, log in, refreshed back to the log on screen.
22 de mar. de 2024 · When I try to log-in to mail, I get "Too many requests". Going in via main site I get a code 'bmx-2008' Why BT has to change things when it was all working OK, I do wonder !!
27 de mar. de 2024 · Re: Webmail login As @gg30340 mentions in their post about using the app, I've always just used BT Email app on mobile devices, no hassles and works fine with multiple email addresses, easily switch between each one without having to log in and out all the time.

28 de set. de 2023 · Signing into email constantly. Had a message pop up when signing into mail last week saying that I had to sign in separately from My BT to view mails from now on. Not a problem as I rarely use My BT & sign into mails directly. Possibly coincidence but since I saw this message, mail will log me off after a few hours.
4 de out. de 2024 · Settings>Mail>Auto-forward ' I have spent hours with BT chat without success. Best advice is use a different email client but I dont see why I should have to. I have had BT email for over 50 years without a problem so why should I have to change just becuase they are incapable of fixing it. It only happens on webail.

They hold the users credentials and periodically log in to the mail account, collect mail and logout again automatically. Webmail requires the user to manually login. the length of time this login is permitted to persist is governed by the mail server.
