I'm super duper late but here's a little guide for those who want to play the enhanced edition of Silent Hill 2 (Silent Hill 2: Enhanced Edition) meant for PC. Begin by navigating to C:\Program Files (x86)\ create a folder "Konami" and then "Silent Hill 2" inside of "Konami".
5 de mar. de 2021 · Personally, I would recommend these ways to play for each game: Silent Hill 1: Emulation through Beetle HW/ RetroArch. Silent Hill 2: Using the Enhanced Edition on PC. Silent Hill 3: Emulation through PCSX2. Silent Hill 4: Buying the gog release and emulating the PS2 version through PCSX2.
Go to MyAbandonWare and search Silent Hill 2. There's two versions, one's normal which you can play but if you want something more then there's a separate version that says that it's compatible with the Enhanced Edition mod, download that. Then simply go over to the 'SH2 Enhanced Edition' website and follow the steps there.
21 de abr. de 2020 · Unzip your download, in which there should be a folder labeled Silent Hill 2 ISO. This folder should contain 3 CD files. Double click on each individual CD to mount them, or right click on each of them and select 'mount'. Then go into CD1, and locate the program setup.exe. This should launch an installation wizard.
28 de out. de 2022 · I completed Silent Hill 2 and then the first one back to back. Now Playing 3. But I can't move forward for some reason. The music here also making me feel weird, I haven't played this game ever, but I already feel nostalgic about it. Also, maybe I know it's gonna be a long road ahead, I feel frozen.

Quick edit: two things: On the megathread g drive links you might need to bypass that too many people have downloaded screen. On the 1fli-something links you will need to wait before two downloads. Download and install winrar. Google "silent hill 2 abandonware" click on first site that comes up then scroll down until you find fully extracted file (not iso) download it then extract it.
