5 de out. de 2019 · 3. I am new to Gimp. I would like to warp an image such that it fills the closed path (closed path and imported image is shown in the image below). The given closed path has a shape of truncated pie. The outer diameter of truncated pie is 15 units and inner diameter of it is 5 units, and the angle of that pie is 60 degrees.
Unfortunately, closest I can figure out with Gimp 2.10 is to apply a gaussian blur, followed by nearest neighbor (none) scaling down. This is a little blurrier than sinc at best. At least you can trade blur for aliasing distortion, whichever is more acceptable for your application.

How do I create a free form selection around the document in GIMP, and crop it to a perfect rectangle, gradually compacting/stretching the content so that the document looks perfect? gimp. photo-editing.

17 de out. de 2019 · Edit>clear Layer>Transparency>Add alpha channel. Gimp doesn't add an alpha channel when loading from format with no alpha channel (JPG, typically). Layers without an alpha channel have their name in boldface. I just inverted the selection, copy, then paste to a new layer. deleted the old layer. I guess sometimes you just have to think outside ...
30 de mar. de 2012 · Use the "Align" tool. Start the Align tool () Click on your layer (it should get four small squares in the corners) In The Tool options dialog: Set Relative to to Image. Go to the Distribute section. In the Offset field enter the X coordinate. Click the icon. In the Offset field enter the Y coordinate.
For example I have 100 images with size 100 X 100. What I need to do on each one: 1. scale to 75 x 75. 2. export as png ( with the same name ) 3. close the original without saving. thanks ! gimp. actions. batch-processing.
15 de ago. de 2016 · This is presented already by others. We try something else which wasn't possible before GIMP 2.10. GIMP 2.10 has a polar version of CIELAB color system named LCH which is especially useful and makes a new answer worth writing. We make a good colorizable BW version of the image and colorize it with blending mode Color LCH.
17 de jan. de 2017 · As a matter of background you can think of the Gimp image as a number of layers over a canvas. The idea is to extend the canvas, add the second image as a layer. Next move the layers so that they do not overlap. Open file1.jpeg using Gimp. Save file1.jpeg in the native Gimp format. Say we save it to file1.xcf. Expand the canvas.
22 de mai. de 2016 · Each layer in GIMP can have the transparency for each pixel specified in two ways, that add to each other: If you imported a PNG file with transparency, you background layer already has an alpha channel - you can keep that untouched - Just right click on the layerś thumb on the Layers Dialog ctrl + L and pick Add Layer Mask - that way a mask is created.
