  1. 5 de out. de 2019 · 3. I am new to Gimp. I would like to warp an image such that it fills the closed path (closed path and imported image is shown in the image below). The given closed path has a shape of truncated pie. The outer diameter of truncated pie is 15 units and inner diameter of it is 5 units, and the angle of that pie is 60 degrees.

  2. Unfortunately, closest I can figure out with Gimp 2.10 is to apply a gaussian blur, followed by nearest neighbor (none) scaling down. This is a little blurrier than sinc at best. At least you can trade blur for aliasing distortion, whichever is more acceptable for your application.

GIMP 2.10 has a polar version of CIELAB color system named LCH which is especially useful and makes a new answer worth writing. We make a good colorizable BW version of the image and colorize it with blending mode Color LCH.
