28 de jul. de 2020 · If you a problem with Epic Games Launcher downloads/updates like slow downloads or making your PC crash then this might help you. After lots of research I found a solution for this problem. The reason that this happens is because of HDD, the epic games launcher will download and install at the same time and HDD is making it very slow even when your install location is not in HDD.

It’s a safe application that launches games. It’s no different than gog or uplay or steam in that respect, just has less features. Reply reply.
5 de set. de 2020 · So i closed the Epic Games Store in the Windows System Tray (the arrow next to the windows clock) and opened it again in administrator mode. Then, I started the download again and it did well (in my case around 10MB/s), but in some cases it can return to the 0.00B/s problem. If it occur you have to repeat the process, closing and opening again ...

12 de jan. de 2022 · JesteR1701one. I tried that but it looks to me that there are 2 different cloud save files. One for each computer because when I start the game on one it only detects the cloud file that it created for that computer. I do use the same epic account on both computers so I have no idea why it’s doing it.
7. Now, reboot your pc. 8. Open Epic Games Launcher, and test if it helped (both for the launcher updates themselves, and for game downloads and updates). I've already had a couple other people tell me they had this slow download speed issue, and that this exact thing fixed it for them, so I hope it helps someone else out there equally frustrated.
After clicking resume, Epic will start verifying the game. Large games can take a while to complete. Step 5,6 is the most important step to trick the launcher to think that it's the same folder. This will work for people who is experiencing Epic doesn't allow resume after pause download and exit normally. Reply reply.
19 de fev. de 2022 · Start downloading the game, let it get a little way into it and then pause the download and copy your original game folder into wherever you set Epic to install games. Then resume the download and it should immediately begin verifying the game files. It worked for me for all my Epic games when I installed a new hard drive.
21 de ago. de 2020 · Start the install from the launcher. It will ask you to "Choose install location". Select the base Epic Games folder where your game files are already installed. ex. C:\Program Files\Epic Games. It will then show that path and add the game folder to the end. ex. C:\Program Files\Epic Games\ShadowComplexRemastered.
