I have tried two browsers (LibreWolf and Brave) and both have this issue. Solutions found in other related posts, like clearing all cookies and bookmarking the Web Player, didn't work either.

Currently we don't have an official Chromebook app so we recommend using the Web Player which is similar to the full desktop version of Spotify 🙂. Alternatively you can install the latest Android version of Spotify via the Chromebook's app store.

In Windows 10/11: Right-click on the sound icon in your taskbar and select sound settings. Scroll down to the Volume Mixer option. On the Volume Mixer page, click the Reset button at the bottom.

In case the issue hasn't already resolved itself, apart from the previously mentioned advice, check if opening Spotify in a different browser would yield the same results. Lastly, we'd also like to know if this is only happening on the Web Player or the desktop app as well.
