General Supervision Rules for Licensure | Counselor and Social Worker Board. For Ohio licensees, there are two types of supervision: Clinical/work supervision. Training supervision. Clinical/Work Supervision. In Ohio, all LSWs, LPCs, and MFTs, need to have a clinical supervisor signing off on certain documentation.
