All students at Magdalene are assigned a College Tutor as a first point of contact for help, advice, and pastoral support. All students are assigned to a Tutor who is from a different academic department to their own, so no Tutor is involved in teaching or examining their tutees. The normal opening hours for the Tutorial Office are 9:00am – 12:30pm and 1:00pm – 5:00pm. At other times the Tutorial Office can be contacted by email at tutorial@st-edmunds.cam.ac.uk. The welfare team are also based in the tutorial offices. The College Nurse’s details can be found here.
Magdalene College has the advantage of an attractive and convenient location on the banks of the River Cam, with the longest waterfront of all the Cambridge Colleges, and less than 5 minutes’ walk from the city centre. With an intake of around 105 new undergraduates each year it is possible to get to know all your fellow students!
Please give us 5 working days notice for any documents you require from us (eg student status letter or college transcript). We will often produce these more quickly but occasionally we may need the full 5 days. Opening times. Monday to Thursday - 9am to 5pm. Friday - 9am to 4.30pm. Please note. The office may close for lunch from 12pm to 12.30pm
