  2. 19 de ago. de 2022 · When opening a profile with the DisplayCAL profile information app, a bit depth of 16 bits is indicated under the graphic cards Gamma-table entry. Moreover DisplayCALs Profile Loader is also set to 16 bits (by default). Does this really mean that my graphic card has a 16 bit LUT?

  4. The reason I’m asking is because I tried both, hardware calibration using the internal display LUT with a different program and calibration using the graphic cards LUT via DisplayCAL. None of them was ideal in terms of gradation characteristics, on my display.

  6. 6 de mar. de 2019 · You can use DisplayCAL graphics card calibration over PME hardware calibration to fix white point, grey neutrality or gamma. For example to fix white point or onik tints in grey when you emulate sRGB in PME. You can even profile only the results of PME hardware calibration (since white point in ICC v2 profiles made with PME is broken).
