Winsted and Winchester are often used interchangeably since they share the same town government, police and fire departments, school system and tax base. Winsted is a regional hub for retail, commerce and industry in northwestern Connecticut and, as such, it fits the needs of a wide variety of commercial ventures.
Visit AMP in Winsted, Connecticut, Friday and Saturday, 10am–5pm, and Sunday, 12–5pm, year-round. In addition to the mural exhibit, programming is currently offered for schools and teachers, after-school partnerships, summer enrichment sessions, and an apprentice-style internship program.
