  5. Robert F. Blumofe was an American producer most active in film from 1952 to 1976. Trained as a lawyer in New York, he joined Paramount Pictures' legal staff in New York before transferring to the Hollywood studio. From 1953 to 1966 he was a vice president in charge of production at United Artists.

  6. Pieces of Dreams was only his sixth film, which he made for producer Robert Blumofe's RFB Enterprises production company, which released the film through Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and United Artists. Pieces of Dreams was twenty-seven-year-old Lauren Hutton's second film.
