Belgrave Square is a large 19th-century garden square in London. It is the centrepiece of Belgravia, and its architecture resembles the original scheme of property contractor Thomas Cubitt who engaged George Basevi for all of the terraces for the 2nd Earl Grosvenor, later the 1st Marquess of Westminster, in the 1820s.
Belgrave Square is one of the the most beautiful and orderly squares in Central London. Traditionally, a place for the fabulously wealthy to live and it now houses a number of embassies. Well worth walking around the square to get a sense of how the 19th and 20th century rich lived in London.

Best Things to do in Belgrave Square. The centre of the square features gardens, statues and even a tennis court for public hire. Many international embassies line the outskirts of the square, along with several electric vehicle charging points.
