Bayamón ( Spanish pronunciation: [baʝaˈmon], locally [baʝaˈmoŋ]) is a city, municipality of Puerto Rico and suburb of San Juan located in the northern coastal valley, north of Aguas Buenas and Comerío; south of Toa Baja and Cataño; west of Guaynabo; and east of Toa Alta and Naranjito.

Bayamón is one of the seven towns that make up Puerto Rico’s metropolitan area. The city is known for its museums, family attractions, and sports facilities. The so-called Pueblo del Chicharrón (“pork rind town”) is the second-most populated town on the Island and connects to other nearby communities via the Tren Urbano system.
Bayamón is San Juan's largest suburb located about 6 miles (10 km) from Puerto Rico's capital. It is the site of some of Puerto Rico's famous attractions such as Parque de las Ciencias, a science and technology-themed park, and the Francisco Oller Museum dedicated to the famous Impressionist painter.
