Categories: The Guide is usually the first NPC a player encounters. He spawns near the player when the world is created. He provides tips mainly aimed at new players via the "Help" option and displays crafting recipes (including the crafting station required) of items shown to him via the "Crafting" option.
Weapons are essential items used for combat against enemies, bosses, critters, and even other players during PvP games. Some weapons can be crafted at a Work Bench or a Pre-Hardmode/Hardmode Anvil, while others can only be found in Chests, as enemy drops, or purchased from NPCs.
Terraria has no formal player class or leveling system. However, weapons can be grouped into four distinct categories based on their damage type – melee, ranged, magic, and summoner. Each class has its strengths and weaknesses and has a wide variety of weapons to choose from.
