The pair bonded initially in the mid-1970s through mutual appreciation. Idle’s passion for music meant he was invariably put in charge of Monty Python’s beloved comedy songs.

Drummer Jim Keltner appears as the judge and the Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood (dressed as a "Pepperpot" character) mimics Idle's falsetto words; Harrison's girlfriend (later wife), Olivia Arias, appears between the people of the jury.
Eric Idle, who described Harrison as "one of the few morally good people that rock and roll has produced", was among the performers of Monty Python's "Lumberjack Song". The profits from the concert went to Harrison's charity, the Material World Charitable Foundation .
