Idk if it’s a timer or if spawn rates affect it, assuming you have Infernum enabled, but if you hang out on the abyss floor for a while they should spawn. You should only be able to spawn one of the mini bosses at a time (eidolon wyrm, reaper shark), and the other creatures will despawn with the audio cue that signals it’s about ...
Reaper Teeth are post-Moon Lord crafting materials that are dropped by Reaper Sharks after Polterghast has been defeated. They are used to craft the Reaper Tooth Necklace, Omega Blue armor, and several weapons.

The Volcanic Reaper Shark is a buffed version of the Reaper Shark added by the Polyphemalus addon. It is spawned by right clicking an unprompted Reaper Shark while holding a stack of 22 Scoria Bars. The boss is a mildly stronger version of the reaper shark, inflicting Scorinfestation and Crush Depth. It's also faster and does more damage.
reaper sharks on infernum 1.9. i was wondering if reaper sharks need a manual spawn now with infernum 1.9 because of the abyss rework, i havent been able to find any reaper sharks in the abyss. I don't think you need to manually spawn them since they appeared naturally during my playthrough.
Pretty Self explanatory, I've beaten Polterghast, Providence, and am on DoG, and I've spent at least 3 hours total trying to get a reaper shark to spawn, but I have not seen a Single one, along with Colossal Squids, and the Eidolon Worms.
