Galeazzo Malatesta (1385–1461) was an Italian condottiero and lord of Pesaro and Fossombrone. He was the elder son of Malatesta IV Malatesta and Elisabetta da Varano. In 1405 he married Battista da Montefeltro.

Galeazzo Malatesta (Pesaro, 1385, – Florence, 1461) [1] était un condottiere italien et seigneur de Pesaro et Fossombrone. Incapable de faire suffisamment de butin, il s'endetta au point de perdre tous ses fiefs et se retira définitivement à Florence dès 1448.
The House of Malatesta was an Italian family that ruled over Rimini from 1295 until 1500, as well as (in different periods) other lands and towns in Romagna and holding high positions in the government of cities in present-day Tuscany, Lombardy and Marche.
On 14 June 1405 she married Galeazzo Malatesta, the heir to the lordship of Pesaro. Galeazzo came to power in 1429 but was so hated as a ruler that, after two years of power in 1431, he was driven from his city. His wife then returned to her old home at Urbino.
