Richard Steven Valenzuela, mais conhecido como Ritchie Valens ( Los Angeles, 13 de maio de 1941 — Clear Lake, 3 de fevereiro de 1959) foi um músico, compositor e guitarrista norte-americano, descendente de mexicanos, nascido em Pacoima (Vale de São Fernando), no subúrbio de Los Angeles, Califórnia, Estados Unidos .
Richard Steven Valenzuela (May 13, 1941 – February 3, 1959), better known by his stage name Ritchie Valens, was an American guitarist, singer and songwriter. A rock and roll pioneer and a forefather of the Chicano rock movement, Valens died in a plane crash just eight months after his breakthrough.
